Matt and I are in the process of buying a new little townhouse. We hope to close by next month and start the renovations soon after. It's going to be great! We are very excited and ready to start a new chapter in our lives together. We will be painting the walls, putting down new carpet, adding molding and chair rails, and attempting to put in a laminate floor in the kitchen all on our own. The house is two stories with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets and full baths. The kitchen is small, but has an island and is directly connected to the outside patio (very convenient for cook outs). The kitchen will need new knobs on the cabinets and updated appliances. We are looking at changing all the door knobs in the house, as well as changing out all the lighting, and eventually putting up a fence. Otherwise, its ready to go!
Here we come... Mortgage, taxes, homeowners insurance, and HOAs! It'll be worth it to finally be homeowners living in our first home together.... Memories for a lifetime : )
